The Journey

It started simply, with a joint love of travel and fashion. As founder Sofiya Deva traveled through Asia, she met designers who were carrying forward artisan traditions, with fresh eyes. Captivated by their originality and flair, she began to collect and treasure their pieces as memories of places she’d fallen in love with, until she needed a much bigger closet.

Thus, The Postcard Edit was born—a discovery platform for underrepresented designers.

And an excuse for her to keep shopping, and call it research.

Women, people of color, queer folx, and voices from the ethnic diaspora. We’re more than just the first inclusive marketplace; we’re a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered.

So stay, marvel at the creativity and talent that far too often go unseen, purchase your favorite one of a kind pieces, and make sure to sign up for the waitlist so you can be in the know about future edits.

The Founder

Founder and CEO, Sofiya Deva, grew up in a combination of India, New York and Dallas, and has felt like a global citizen for as long as she can remember. She’s been a yoga teacher, a magazine editor, a creative director and a marketing exec, but at her heart, has always dreamed of creating a smaller, stranger world.
